As the 2002/2003 NEH season comes to an end it is already time for tryouts for the upcoming 2003/2004 season. As a parent I am realizing more every day that we want the best for our children in everything they do. In the past four years of learning and growing the NEH has become what every parent and player desires in a youth hockey experience. The recipe for success: Great coaching, lots of ice, good competition and discipline all with positive philosophies:

The NEH is an elite developmental league for youth hockey players. The goals and objectives of the league are to improve player skills, knowledge, and attitude in the game of hockey. We achieve these goals through positive reinforcement, hard work and discipline. Our program includes an experienced coaching staff and a weekly schedule including two team practice hours, one high intensive on ice skill session and one competitive game each week. The program has been designed to maximize the potential and development of each player in the NEH.
Due to the high demand and the success of our Canton Division the NEH is offering a high school division. This is set up to prepare players for Varsity High School Hockey. All NEH coaches will be using the same coaching style that they use when coaching their high school teams. Their will be 4 teams to get the best possible competition for the ten weeks leading up to high school tryouts. This current year the NEH Canton division (88/89) had over 20 players make their varsity hockey team as freshman. The NEH will also be holding a school fair between the 5th and 8th week of season. This will give the players a chance to play in front of top high school coaches.
Many parents have inquired about the NEH for their younger siblings and friends. We are excited to announce that we are adding the 93/94-birth year. The NEH has put together a very experienced and professional coaching staff to develop your players. Each coach will receive 15 hours of On/Off ice training prior to the season.
