Mike has more than five
years of coaching experience at a variety of levels,
including tier 1 and tier II, as well as at the high
school level. Until his move to the Express, Tenney
was head coach at Conestoga (PA) Valley High School.
He is currently a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach.
During his 12 years as
a player, Tenney skated for the Princeton (NJ) Tigers
youth organization, and was starting goalie at the
Hun School of Princeton, where he attended high school.
As a senior, he won the Dan Little Award for leadership,
sportsmanship and dedication. He attended Millersville
(PA) University, where in 2008 he received a bachelor’s
degree in Communication Broadcasting and minored in
Sports Management.
