Holiday Greeting's to NEH Families
December 12, 2011 | NEH
Dear friends,
This year has sped by in the blink of an eye. Before the calendar turns to 2012, the Barletta family would like to take a moment to express our appreciation for all of our hockey friends and families who allow us to do what we love in coaching your players on and off the ice. It is your support that keeps us going!
For us, 2011 has been busy and productive – as we hope it has been for your family. Here's a glimpse of what the Barletta kids have been up to.
Sami, now 10-years-old, is doing well in fifth grade, though Chrissy is exhausted from helping Sami with her mountain of homework! Sami is also doing very well on both of her hockey teams, Walpole Express Girls and NEH Blackhawks. Over the summer, she spent her free time fishing, riding her bike and going to the beach.
Robbie turned nine in November and also plays for the NEH Blackhawks. This season, he moved from defense to forward and has adjusted well. He also started Lacrosse and has now found two sports he loves. He is learning to balance his time, since he is dealing with his own expanding homework load. When he has free time, he enjoys playing outside with the boys in the neighborhood, everything from hide-and-go-seek to street hockey to riding bikes.
Jessi, who turns eight in March, is well into her first full season of hockey with the Walpole Express. She loves it! Of course, it has added another day in the rink to our family's already hectic schedule. Jessi is excelling in second grade, and loves swimming and riding her bike and scooter in the neighborhood.
Have a happy holiday season and a Very Merry Christmas!
